More than 30 hours of intensive live discussions, question and answers, webinars and hands-on mentoring support within 5 days, for more than 150 participants from all over the world, managed by almost 40 pan-European mentors – these are the impressive numbers of the Astropreneurs Mentoring Bootcamp.

It all started on Monday, the 19th October 2020 with a Keynote speech from Frank Salzgeber from ESA Space Solution and ended on Friday, 23rd of October 2020, with a successful pitching event of pre-selected Astropreneurs presenting towards international investors.

With this initiative the Astropreneurs consortia made a splash in the space start-up community. “We received very good feedback for our effort” says Carla Duarte from IPN. “It was highly appreciated to have all lessons, talks and webinars recorded for a more sustainable usage”, says Sascha Heising from cesah in addition. The Mentoring bootcamp can be seen as a kind of digression across all the various aspects of mentoring for space start-ups. “No matter if you were looking for finance, tech or business questions, we had something to offer for everybody”, mentions Nick Trigg from STFC. The whole consortia agree one the following: “There is and there will be an on-going demand for mentoring tailored to the needs of space related start-ups”.
